Ringgit pulls back to RM4.25 against greenback
The ringgit extended its gain on Tuesday to open higher against the US dollar today on continuous buying momentum, a dealer said.

At 9.20am, the ringgit was quoted at 4.2520/2600 against the US dollar from 4.3050/3120 on Tuesday.

The market was closed on Wednesday for Malaysia Day holiday.

The local unit also traded higher against other major currencies.

It rose against the Singapore dollar to 3.0399/0478 from Tuesday’s 3.0735/0796 and strengthened against the yen to 3.5295/5367 from 3.6010/6075.

The local unit also appreciated against the euro to 4.8090/8189 from 4.8655/8751 on Tuesday and advanced against the British pound to 6.6016/6157 from 6.6448/6582 previously.
